Sofia Zhang, BS, Intern

Sofia Zhang is a graduate student at Harvard studying Human Development and Education with a focus on cognitive development and learning design. She is interested in the intersection of learning and memory, sleep, anxiety, and how these factors influence cognitive performance and well-being. Sofia’s previous research explored the relationship between anxiety, heart rate variability (HRV), and spatial memory consolidation during sleep. She is currently assisting in a study on sleep physiology in ASD patients using EEG devices and an fMRI study on neuropsychiatric conditions and their effects on cognitive functions like learning and memory.
