Haniya Rizwan is a second-year undergraduate student studying Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University. She is passionate about understanding brain disorders and the genetic, biological, and environmental factors that impact them. Currently, she is assisting with studying sleep physiology in ASD patients using EEG devices as well as the impact of auditory stimulation on sleep dependent memory consolidation in schizophrenic patients.
Jocelyn Cheng is currently a senior at Tufts University studying Clinical Psychology and Child Study and Human Development. She is passionate about learning more about the use of technology in psychiatric research, especially in regards to increasing the accessibility to treatment.
Sofia Zhang is a graduate student at Harvard studying Human Development and Education with a focus on cognitive development and learning design. She is interested in the intersection of learning and memory, sleep, anxiety, and how these factors influence cognitive performance and well-being. Sofia’s previous research explored the relationship between anxiety, heart rate variability (HRV), and spatial memory consolidation during sleep. She is currently assisting in a study on sleep physiology in ASD patients using EEG devices and an fMRI study on neuropsychiatric conditions and their effects on cognitive functions like learning and memory.
Georgia Hutchinson is a sophomore at Harvard studying neurobiology with a secondary in global health and health policy. She is interested in learning more about the role of environment and co-occurring conditions in ASD, and she is currently assisting with a study on an EEG-based sleep physiology study for adolescents with ASD.
