Shahin Nasr, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and a cognitive neuroscientist with expertise in using conventional and high-resolution MRI to study the human brain in health and disease. His research focuses on developing and applying advanced neuroimaging methods to investigate the structural and functional organization of the human brain across multiple spatial scales. His areas of interest include understanding the neuronal mechanisms underlying cognition and behavior, their development and plasticity, and how these mechanisms are altered in neurological disorders.
Nataliia Kozhemiako, PhD, is an Instructor in the Psychiatry department at Harvard Medical School and conducts research at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, focusing on brain oscillations during sleep. With a background in biomedical physiology and neuroimaging, Nataliia’s current research interests include comprehensively characterizing various aspects of sleep neurophysiology using large EEG datasets in various neuropsychiatric populations, particularly schizophrenia and neurodevelopmental disorders. Her ultimate goal is to identify disorder-specific signatures that could underlie disorder pathophysiology.
